As we welcomed students back this week after the holiday, it was great to see students and staff refreshed and ready to get back in our routines. I hope everyone had a restful break and is excited to be back. This month teachers will continue to work with students on various assessments that they will use to adjust their instruction and ensure that each child is doing the best they can this school year.
In addition to our academic work, we are preparing for two exciting extra-curricular events that take place in February. First, we will be participating in an activity called Prairie Fire Theater the first week of February, which will allow students to work with some actors from the theater company and perform for the public Friday evening and Saturday morning. Watch for more info in the coming week. Also, our annual Fun Night will be on February 22. Our parent group LESO is working hard to get this fun evening prepared, and is always ready to accept additional help.
